Personal Background
Andrew was born March 7, 1968. After graduating from Prince of Wales High School in 1986 with Honours, Andrew completed three years towards his Bachelor of Arts Degree before being admitted into University of British Columbia Law School in 1989. Initially, after being admitted to the Bar in 1993, Andrew focussed his practice in the area of Family Law and as a result Andrew has appeared in both the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia on many matrimonial matters.

Today, Andrew has a solicitor practice which includes real estate transactions, including those on Indian Reserves. Andrew also provides estate & incapacity planning services to the firm's clients including the preparation of wills, powers of attorneys and representation agreements. In the corporate commercial field, Andrew is corporate counsel for companies in the hospitality, restaurant, construction, and high tech industries and prepares security for financial institutions in commercial lending situations. Further, Andrew acts for several financial institutions in collection matters involving both secured and unsecured debts.

In 2002, Andrew had the honour of being elected by his peers to the Provincial Council, the governing body, of the Canadian Bar Association, British Columbia Branch.

On a personal note, Andrew cites his interests as watching baseball, following politics, reading books focussing on the U.S. Civil War and 20th century politics.
